The project “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education” has a budget of 11,315 euros and is

part of Key Action 1 /KA 122-SCH/.

Main objectives of the project:

➢ Familiarization with modern methods and practices in teaching;
➢ Utilization of digital tools, gamification, and artificial intelligence in the educational process;
➢ Initiation of long-term international activities.

    First day of the Erasmus+ course: “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education”!

    Today marks an inspiring start to our Erasmus+ journey! On this first day, participants gathered to immerse themselves in the theoretical concepts behind digital transformation and explore ways to make their schools more innovative. It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know each other, share ideas, and set the stage for the exciting week ahead.

    One of the highlights was a hands-on photography workshop, led by Mauro Gentile at Erasmus+ Courses in Portugal. He shared practical tips on capturing the perfect moments and provided valuable insights into taking great photos.

    The afternoon took us on an adventure around a rainy but beautiful Lisbon! Despite the weather, we soaked in the sights and enjoyed a memorable day exploring together.

    Looking forward to what tomorrow will bring on this exciting educational journey! 🚀

Day 2 of Erasmus+ Mobility: “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education”!

Today was an exciting deep dive into educational games! 🎮✨ EducaTech by Luís Varela led an inspiring workshop, sparking countless ideas on how to integrate games to make learning more engaging and motivating.

We then explored some incredibly useful and free digital tools that can enhance classroom experiences. Of course, no gamified lesson would be complete without Kahoot! – the classic quiz was a hit, focusing on topics related to the European Union! 🇪🇺

After a day of learning, we embarked on a cultural journey. Our first stop was the breathtaking landscapes of Azeitão, where we admired traditional Portuguese tiles and visited a local winery, indulging in the rich flavors and traditions of the region.

We ended the day in a fado restaurant, immersing ourselves in Portugal’s soulful musical heritage. 🎶❤️

With the support of Multimedia by Daniel Ganço, each day brings us closer as a group and opens new horizons in education.

Day 3 of Erasmus+ Mobility: “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education”!

Another incredible day! 🌟 Today, we had the opportunity to explore innovative school practices at Agrupamento de Escolas da Boa Água. We were warmly welcomed by the school’s director, Nuno Mantas, who shared groundbreaking methods and insights from their educational practices.

The day didn’t end there! Participants were also warmly received at Junta de Freguesia da Quinta do Conde by its president, Carlos Pólvora, fostering valuable discussions on education and community collaboration.

Today, our lecturer João Mouro introduced us to the fascinating world of Augmented Reality (AR) in education! 📱✨ His session opened up new possibilities for making lessons even more engaging and immersive, inspiring participants with creative ideas on how to integrate AR into their classrooms.

The day continued with a visit to the historic Palmela Castle, followed by a trip to the beautiful city of Setúbal.

Every day of this course is filled with learning, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences. 🎓🌍

🌟 Day 5 of Mobility in Portugal – Erasmus+ Project: “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education” 🌟

Today was truly inspiring, filled with new knowledge and challenges!

📚 In the morning, we explored the role of Artificial Intelligence in modern education and got acquainted with a variety of innovative AI-powered tools designed to enhance learning and boost creativity:
✨ ChatGPT – for intelligent text assistance and content creation;
✨ Gemini – a new approach to enriching the educational process;
✨ Gamma – for visual storytelling and presentations;
✨ Leonardo.AI – for creating inspiring visualizations;
✨ Canva – for interactive designs and educational materials;
✨ Questionwell – for creating customized tests and quizzes.

🔍 In the afternoon, we participated in a masterclass on critical analysis. Working in teams, we created and presented projects that combined our newly acquired knowledge with collaborative skills. The constructive feedback from fellow participants was extremely valuable and motivating!

Over the past few days, we had the pleasure of sharing the knowledge and skills gained during our Erasmus+ mobility in Portugal with our fellow educators! 🙌

✅ Demonstrations of AI-powered tools and how they can enhance the creation of educational resources, personalize assignments for students, and foster creativity in the classroom.

We successfully conducted an engaging interdisciplinary lesson, integrating knowledge from English Language and Computer Modeling & Information Technology (CMIT). The lesson, titled “Students Creating Digital Content in Educational Platforms,” exceeded all expectations! 🎉

📌 What Did We Achieve?

✅ Students created digital projects using modern educational platforms like Canva, Wordwall, LearningApps, and Google Sites.
✅ They developed content in English, including presentations and interactive visualizations.
✅ Collaborative teamwork played a crucial role in the learning process.

💡 How Did This Process Benefit Students?

🔹 Enhanced efficiency – Working with digital tools helped students plan and organize their tasks more effectively.
🔹 Greater engagement – The use of interactive platforms and the ability to create their own content motivated students to learn by doing.

🎉 On February 14, 2025, at the United School “Hristo Botev” in Tsonevo, we welcomed colleagues from the United School “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” in Prosenik as part of an inter-institutional qualification under project No. 2024-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000227570 within the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

🔍 Event theme: “Digital Tools, Gamification, and Artificial Intelligence in Education.”

💻 During the meeting, we discussed best practices and opportunities for implementing modern technologies in the learning process. Educational digital tools, artificial intelligence, and gamification are not just the future but the present, helping us engage students and make learning more interesting and effective.

🌍 The international mobilities provided by the European Union and the Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) through the Erasmus+ program open new horizons for professional development. Teachers have the opportunity to learn about innovative educational practices, enhance their digital skills, build partnerships, and develop intercultural competence. All of this contributes to a higher quality, more inspiring, and effective learning process.
