Road Safety Week
The week of September 16-22 has been declared Road Safety Week and is held under the patronage of the Minister of the Interior. The culmination of the initiative is on September 18 – A Day Without Road Fatalities. The goal is for all road users – drivers of cars, trucks, buses, cyclists, pedestrians, and road workers – to take on the challenge of ensuring that not a single person loses their life in a road accident on this day.
The students of ObU “Hristo Botev” in Tsonevo call on everyone to reflect on the responsibility we all bear on the road – as pedestrians, drivers, or cyclists. Under the motto “Stay alive! Save a life!”, this initiative aims to emphasize the importance of attentiveness and responsible behavior in reducing the risk of road accidents.
Road safety is not just about rules – it is about personal responsibility and solidarity. Every life is invaluable, and every action we take on the road can be decisive.
During this week, various events and initiatives were organized to raise awareness about road safety.
